“Will this printer shut its self off when not in use.? It does shut off manually.”

• It doesn't actually power all the way down (the print button stays on), but I would say it "sleeps" until it receives a print request again then you hear it powering back up to print. You can turn it off yourself using the on/off button.

• It goes to sleep and then wakes up and prints when you send a print job to it, but you have to do a full shutdown manually.

• Yes, this printer does have a auto power off mode that can be set in 1hour, 2hours, 4hours and 8hours increments.
