“Are there any generic toner options with this printer?”

• Yes. I entered the toner number on amazon, and it came up with toners that could be used. I have been using that for about six months now.

• Yes, but don’t waste your money. I’ve tried them and was always disappointed with the smears and leakage. Just buy the Brother brand. You won’t be disappointed.

• Yes, probably, but I don’t bother with lower priced generic toner cartridges. I have always been disappointed due to them leaking and/or smearing on the paper. I only buy genuine Brother toner, and I’ve never been disappointed. They last a very long time.
