Yes, you are able to use a third-party toner cartridge on the Brother HLL2405W. Please be advice using non-Brother toners may cause print quality issues. The cartridges for this printer are so reasonably priced that I prefer to stick with the cartridge that is suggested. Lazer printers can be very particular and if you want the crisp printouts - use the cartridges that go with the printer. I also recommend using Lazer printer paper.

The cartridges for this printer are so reasonably priced that I prefer to stick with the cartridge that is suggested. Lazer printers can be very particular and if you want the crisp printouts - use the cartridges that go with the printer. I also recommend using Lazer printer paper.
