The replies are only partially correct. This unit does NOT feature automatic duplex printing (printing on both sides without touching the machine). However, using the manual feed, it is possible to print on both sides of one sheet of paper. For more than one sheet, there is a separate method, which also produces better results. These methods are both described in the instructions for an older model of the machine, so I know they can be done, but I cannot say whether Brother gives the same instructions for the present model. I am sure it can be found somewhere online, however.

The Brother HLL2405W does not support 2-sided printing.
