“What does up to one year of free ink mean? I bought this in August, its October and Its almost out of ink in less than 2 month. I haven't printed more than 200 pages.”

On this printer it means 150 pages per month for a year. If you are nowhere near that, you should contact Brother tech support.

The Brother MFCJ4535DW machine comes packaged with INKvestment TANK Starter Ink Cartridges. Actual yield of initial cartridges will be approximately 75% of replacement LC406 Series, due to ink system initialization. All replacement cartridges will provide approximate page yield stated in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711.
