• This printer has four (4) ink cartridges. Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta. They are included with the printer when purchased.

• No, the Brother MFC-J805DW requires 4 ink cartridges which are Black, Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta.

• The J805DW uses 4 cartridges - LC3033BK (Black), LC3033M (Magenta), LC3033C (Cyan) and LC3033Y (Yellow). These are "tank" style cartridges and should last for a while, of course that depends on how many pages you print! Mine does great in my home office!
