What I do each time I get a new printer - I go to brother.com look at the ink for my new printer - because sometimes that information does not come with your printer or if you buy a used printer. I have also learned that with Brothers new printers they will only take Brother ink....so don't order the ones that say we can get you lower cost. Hope this helps!

I would contact Brother and ask them or look in your instruction manual. There are a lot of different types of brothers printers out there so be sure you talk to brother.

I honestly don't know. I recommend going to Best Buy and asking them.
