• It is a laser printer. I do not own a Mac but I know the Mac software is on the disc that comes with the printer.

• This is perfect for an Apple computer. I bough an IMac the same day in January and I love the Brother printer. It is far superior to the HP color laser I had. Yes, it is laser. Bet printer I have ever had. Well worth the price.
