Yes you can set this up to auto receive faxes or only when you want. The drums are about $70 a piece but yield anywhere from 2500-5000 pages for the life cycle depending upon your printing usage. I use it for a small business and also to print off newsletters and bulletins for my church and it works great. Hands down one of the best copiers I own...and I own several.
