• You can print in Black by going into the printer settings in Windows using the Control Panel. Choose the Print in Black/Greyscale option. Note: Although this will print in Black you will still need to have ink in all the color cartridges as Black prints using some of the color inks. I had a similar instance where the Cyan color would not print at all. Changed to the Black/Greyscale setting and was able to print in Greyscale, but still had to have all the color inks available. The black print was satisfactory with those conditions.
