Yes it prints double automatically Not sure about amount of pages, but much cheaper than inkjet. I DO NOT miss the color...i just switched to the Laser printer and love it. It had finished printing the page before I turned around! ....LOVE IT!

Yes it prints in black only.. I haven't tried all the features. I am still using the original cartrige about 125 copies

Yes, it prints double sided automatically in black only. You can print approximately 125 copies with one cartridge.
