Printing a section on a page is not a function of the printer. Printing a section of a page is selected on the computer not by the printer. A printer will print whatever data the computer sent. So you should be asking if a Mac is capable of printing a section of a page. I believe the answer is yes. All computers are able to print a section on a page. And all printers are able to print the data provided by any computer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been using Macs for about 30 years. I've also trained others on Mac hardware and software. This printer is a relatively new purchase for us, and I haven't yet tried to print only a highlighted section.... but I'm pretty sure that's a function of your software, not the printer itself. Your software is what tells the printer what to print, the printer just does what it's told. You might be able to find instructions for your exact software, by doing a search on the internet. Whenever I want to find out how to do something, that's what I do. No software manuals nowadays :-) In google (or whatever search engine you use), type something like, "____ How to print just a highlighted section ____" <<< replace the blanks* with whatever app/software program you're trying to print from (Pages, Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc) *Yes, I recommend putting the software/app name in twice, to help limit the number of results you get for other software. And you could also include "mac" to be even more specific. If you're asking whether you can make the printer print on a specific area of a sheet of paper..... that can be a little trickier. I use trial-and-error to find out where the full printed area will show up on the paper, and adjust my document layout/formatting (in the software) accordingly. Exactly how you do this depends on what software you're using. But you can probably find instructions on the internet, you just have to be specific with your wording when you search. I use this technique (printing on a specific area of the sheet) when I want to print on mailing label stock that has 30 labels on a page, but I only need 10 printed labels. Hope this helps.....
