“How do I set up my email to the scanner? It tells me to check connection but the printer is hooked up to the internet and is working fine”

I had some trouble with this as well. You have to make sure that you install ALL of the drivers from the CD that came with the printer. Once they are all installed on your computer - you should be able to set up scanner via your computer.

The instruction are lacking in clarity and detail. I'm not sure what your question is (a) send email to print or (b) print an email. Are you printing from PC, android or Apple? First off - Connect using USB cable and telephone only. Do NOT connect network cable. Brother is WIRELESS ONLY, does not work if on wired LAN. From the printer’s own screen, select SETTING | Network | WLAN | SetupWizard Connect ONLY to 2G – will NOT work on 5G – router MUST have separate SSID names for 2 and 5 to ensure correct connection is established. Verify access via web browser and/or ping. Setup admin password. Login and setup/configure EVERY tab.
