• you can only fax if toner is low/missing. Any function that requires toner, you need to replace toner. Unless you are scanning to USB/Computer - that would work.

• Yes, you can place the machine in mono mode when one of the color cartridges has run out.

• Yes- thats the essence why we return Xeros and buy the Brothers- becuase you can use scanner and other functions even when one of the tonner is gone. Great product differentiator
