How many batteries (and type) does this unit use null

The Brother PTD220 label maker requires Six AAA alkaline batteries (LR03) Or Six AAA Ni MH batteries (HR03) for power. It can also be powered by an optional AC adapter (AD24ES/AD24ESA/AD24ESAW/AD24ESA01/AD24ESAW01). The PTD220 uses Brother's TZe label tapes.
