• The SDX125 model has many more built-in patterns and 4 additional fonts than the SDX85, including 100 quilt designs. The SDX 125 model also has a larger LCD. You can use the free Brother CanvasWorkspace software to create and edit patterns to use with the machine.

• I have the 125 DX. I believe all the machines let you edit with either the machine only and with external software for PC (Windows/Apple) and via their browser based software for phones, tablets, Android computers. When in doubt best to contact the manufacturer or watch YouTube tutorials on the subject.
