You can simply replace the black toner cartridge and continue printing without changing out the color cartridge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your printer will not print without all 4 cartridges in the printer and toner cartridges can't be empty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to brother, you have to have all cartridges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your printer has spots for four toner cartridges they all have to be viable for the printer to go. I guess this is a quality control point for the manufacturer but does not help you if you are in a jam. The toner is expensive, but keeping an extra set on hand is a wise move if you print a lot. You might want to get a second printer that only takes black for those black and white pages. You'll find it goes a long, long time before needing "refueling".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My MFC requires all 4 toners.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't say what kind of printer you have. I have a laser printer n all of the cartridges have to b installed..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I print in solid black sometimes. There is a setting on the printer profile that pops up when you're going to print. You should be able to click on a spot that says "black ink only."
