• Toner can sit fine for a long time, but make sure you really shake the cartridge before you put it in to break up any caking or settling that may have occured as this can case clumps that won't allow toner to feed evenly.

• The last time I purchased toner was over a year ago. I purchased two on the deal at that time and didn't have any problem with the one spare I stored in the garage. I can say, base on my experience, they long last even not in the perfect climate conditions.

• I believe so since it is laser jet cartridge those things last longer

• Yes, provided it's kept in a cool place...not hot and not cold. Moderate temperature. Keep it in the box.

• I do a lot of printing and don't think it will hold for a year, like if you were buying multiples. Would probably be a better question for manufacturer. I did notice it last longer if you unplug your device when not in use.
