“I have a HL-L2340DW, does it have and color cartridges? Im trying to print a color photo and it keeps coming out black and white”

No. This printer only prints in black. You will need a different Brother Printer to print in color. A color printer will likely have four (4) or more cartridges if it is printing in CMYK color and at least three (3) if it is printing in RGB color.

This is a Black cartridge only.

Your user manual will designate if you printer is monochrome (black only printing). The website Brother.com will also provide the information.
