Unfortunately the Brother MFCJ497DW machine is not able to automated two sided scan or copy. Brother strongly recommends that customers use only Brother Genuine cartridges for optimal results. Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality and machine reliability. The Brother limited warranty may not apply to any problem that is caused by the use of third-party supplies. If you have purchased a compatible cartridge and have any questions, please contact the seller. This model is able to print from a Chromebook device.
