“I recently purchased a similar transmitter, still a scosche though. It worked perfectly but then all of a sudden stopped connecting. I was constantly having to try and reconnect and/or try a different a channel. Any suggestions??”

It could be your brand doesn’t put out a strong enough signal or interference from other devices. Defective device or you might need a device update. Many reasons just to name a few
