Pretty sure it will pull paint off when removed. But you can buy new 3M tape to put on the strip to move it.

Please try again later.Hi there, while it can be moved and reapplied, it is not recommended to do so, I would advise against removing the adhesive cover on the back of the strip until you're ready to apply it, as those 3M strips are no joke! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We found that the adhesive that is on them is not very good. We had use some additional 2 sided tape . But yes, you will be able to take them down . Just may have to buy some 2 sided tape when you re-install .
