A:AnswerThese are actually Bluetooth bulbs, they do not connect to WiFi themselves, they need to be connected to a google home device to connect to your internet.
Also your internet is NOT WiFi, those are NOT the same thing. Xfinity is your internet provider, they have just also rented you a router that gives you WiFi. That router will broadcast a 2.4ghz signal or if it is dual band it will broadcast both a 2.4ghz signal and a 5ghz signal. You will have 2 SSIDs one for each band.
Google home devices will not connect to the 5ghz band of WiFi, they will connect to the 2.4ghz band. So you need to connect them to that SSID. The name of the SSID for each band is dependent on how the installer set up your WiFi.
A:AnswerHello Darwin,
Our C by GE bulbs are compatible with the Apple Home app. A C-Reach Smart Hub is required to make the connection. There are some limitations with the voice control that we would be happy to speak with you about if you have a chance to call our support team prior to making the purchase.
Please contact us at C by GE Customer Service Hotline 1(844) 30-CbyGE (844-302-2943) [email protected] Live Chat (www.cbyge.com).
A:AnswerAll the colors are static colors. Cannot use it for fading colors or patterns. I use this with google mini, so the software does allow for this. Maybe other softwares might.
A:AnswerIt connects via Bluetooth to Google Home/Mini/hub directly. If you don't have one of those then you need the C by GE smart plug (WiFi bridge) or the little standalone bridge device they sell.
