The Caavo handheld remote will be able to communicate with Control Center inside a cabinet as long as the bluetooth signal is strong enough. Bluetooth is typically reliable up to about 30 feet in open air. The Control Center hub itself will need IR line-of-site communicate with all of your devices. Typically this is not a problem if Control Center and your devices are all inside of the cabinet as IR will reflect around and still be able to reach everything. The challenge is often maintaining IR line-of-site to your TV since it is outside the cabinet. To achieve this, we provide an IR emitter that will plug in to the back of Control Center. The other end of the emitter must be placed outside of the cabinet and have line-of-site to the IR receiver window of your TV.
