This device does similar things, but the remote seems easier to use and voice search on remote searches web, amazon, netflix for content.Also can search plex. I had been using harmony and this is simpler to use and only need the remote. They need to add live tv streaming apps( youtube tv, hulu live tv, sling, etc) beyond the cable boxes to change the tv channel with voice remote. For cable works great, but not for others. They need to find a way to hook local over the air tv. as well. So far this has passed the easy to use for our house members. . Hd home run support would be good for apps on fire stick as well.

First - while a Logitech Harmony can be programmed by a user to control a great number of devices - if you’ve ever done it you know what a painful process it is. With Control Center, you just plug in a new device, a Roku for instance, and we automatically detect that there’s a new Roku, and Caavo programs the remote to work for that Roku. The whole process takes about 10 seconds after the Roku has been plugged in. With Control Center - when you pick up your PS4 game controller and turn the PS4 on, Caavo recognizes that the PS4 just decided to do something, and switches to it automatically and turns your TV on even if it wasn’t already on...you can just start gaming. Same thing if you want to share photos over AirPlay with your family - just share them to your Apple TV, and Caavo will take care of the rest without you needing to do anything. When it comes to voice search, there’s no comparison to what Caavo offers vs an Echo paired with a Harmony. Caavo is aware and fully supports many of the apps running on your devices and knows what the apps' content catalogs are, so when your child searches for ‘The Descendants’ (again) Caavo shows you all the places its available - and lets you know which ones are free and which require payment. When you add the price of a Logitech Hub and Echo together it is more expensive than the Caavo with the lifetime subscription (which really isn't need TBH)
