• Yes, it will do that, best way to accomplish this is to plug in all sources (up to 4), into Caavo, then Caavo output to TV, then TV optic into Denon. Follow on screen instructions to complete setup.

• Yes. You can definitely do the basics: on, off, volume. I never need to do more, but based on the buttons on the CAAVO, doubt you can do much more. The CAAVO is for the set it and forget it setup.
