  • QuestionBought a cafe convection microwave about 4 years ago with the 27" trim kit. Will we have to buy a new trim kit fit for the newer cafe conv. microwave? Since our microwave didn't last long, we are scared to buy another GE! Our Panasonic lasted 28 yrs!

  • QuestionWhat are the inside demensions of this microwave? Will the door become hot when using convections? And finally can the microwave be used with one bottom touch or does it take numerous steps to use?

    • Answer Hi B- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! The Cavity is 15-1/2"W x 10-7/8"H x 15-1/2"D and the turntable is 13.5". Per the Owner's Manual, be careful when touching the turntable, door, or wall of the oven which may become hot during use. The microwave features Express Cook Instant-On 1-6. Pressing number pad buttons 1 through 6 will activate Express Cook, and food will be cooked on microwave mode for a time of 1-6 minutes, depending on what number was pressed (1 = 1 minutes, 2 = 2 minutes, etc.).
