QuestionI checked this out at the store tonight and it seems to have a PLASTIC handle? How can that be for something this expensive?

- Answer Since observing that this is a plastic handle I've found dozens of reviews and complaints that state the coating is subject to peeling off. Many on GE's website. What is being done to address this?

Questionhow does Cafe series compare to the Profile series

- Answer Hello Cynthia! Both the Cafe and Profile series are loaded with premium features and options. Cafe appliances are stainless and Black Slate, where you have multiple color options with Profile (including Slate, Stainless, etc.). Profile also has a different appearance, especially with the handles. Cafe is a more "commercial" look. Thank you for considering GE Appliances! LEDA@GE

- Answer You can probably find a more technical answer elsewhere online, but from my experience I don't think I've seen a fingerprint on mine in the last 2 months of ownership. There could be a little luck involved there, but it has not been an issue for us yet.

QuestionCan this be installed under an upper cabinet but not necessarily over the microwave? I like the look of a range hood over the range but would still like to have a microwave.

The microwave will only use convection when the Convection Bake, Convection Roast, or Combination Fast Cook options are selected. QuestionSomeone gifted their old GE care microwave /oven to us. Has range. Not exactly sure if this is what we were looking for. Have an oven already so the oven portion is not needed, but the microwave is only needed. Can this be used for microwave only on top?
