“Can you tell me if the stainless steel matches other SS appliances in color? It looks dark in photos. Also is the touch pad very sensitive like a phone or do you have to press hard to make selections. Thanks.”

It is as dark as the pictures show. The touch pad requires firm pressing to activate. I don't know if you can adjust the sensitivity. They no longer include hard copies of the manuals and the pdf's are a pain to read.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it matches very well, but does depend on lighting too. We have other S/S appliances of another brand, but you really cannot see any difference. There is no need to press to make a selection. It will sense a finger touching a selection in less than 1 second. It is not a touch pad, it is glass.
