Hi OMAR, thanks for reaching out to us! We truly appreciate you considering this beautiful chimney hood for your home and are happy to offer you guidance in these questions! While this hood is designed to be vented vertically through the ceiling using a 6" round duct, the venting is convertible! You have the choice to recirculate the exhausting operation to circulate the air through a charcoal filter to remove odors and then discharge the filtered air back into the room. The hood will include the recirculation components needed for this installation except for the accessory JXCF71 Charcoal Filter which will be necessary.
