A:AnswerHey there, we appreciate your interest. This model is glass (Café Modern Glass Collection) which cleans easily with a glass cleaner, but it doesn't carry a fingerprint resistant claim. We apologize for any inconvenience and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@Cafe
A:AnswerHi! Thanks for your interest. We've got some ideas in the works and hope to have some similar, counter depth, models out by the 3rd quarter of this year. Of course, this is subject to change. Keep an eye out on our website for any new releases or updates! All the best. -Michael@Cafe
A:AnswerNo notable vents in the rear. There's one vent on each rear side, one left, one right. GE says it needs 1/8 of an inch of clearance, on the sides, for proper ventilation.
A:AnswerHi! Thanks for asking. Yes, you can open the right hand fresh food door while filling water from your dispenser. Hope this is helpful! All the best. -Michael@Cafe
A:AnswerHi - This is a great question to ask and we're happy to help you. The back of the refrigerator needs 2 inches of clearance, the top needs 1 inch, and each side needs 0.125 inch of clearance. We hope this information comes in handy and if you need anything else, connect with us! Be well, Kelsey@Café
A:AnswerYes, the lower freezer door is very reasonably priced at GE's online website. The only downside is buying it through GE, they'll only sell it through service. So that means having to pay them to install it. Not sure what the installation charge would be, but knowing GE, it shouldn't be too bad.
A:AnswerWhat is the temperature setting? I have not had an issue.
It did take me a couple of days to understand the different temperature setting for the freeze and the refrigerator drawer.
A:AnswerEnsure that the water line is not kinked. If the refrigerator is pushed too far back, the water line will kink and cause problems both dispensing water and making ice.
A:AnswerHi,
Great question! We're glad you chose Cafe Appliances and we'd like to help. The design you're referring to is in the review photos as well. It's a bit difficult to see, but if you zoom in on these photos the same design is shown on the back light panel. Thanks for checking with us and let us know if you have any other questions. Take care!
