“Can the silver part on the top back be removed so the top is completely flush for installation in a kitchen island ?”

Hey there, and thanks for your interest in this range! This model can be installed in an island, but the rear trim is required and needs to be attached to the back of the range. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
