Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. Actual preheat times will vary based on a number of factors such as the set temperature, room temperature, and starting temperature of the oven cavity to name just a few. That said, the upper oven offers a preheat time of approximately 10-12 minutes. Many consumers find they do most of their cooking in the upper oven and primarily use the lower oven for larger food items.
