Hi Sandy, thank you very much for reaching out to us! We're sorry to hear about this, we know that this must be frustrating. Firstly, we'd recommend making sure that your unit was installed properly and that its getting enough power. If the unit is not receiving enough power, then it would not be able to function as intended. This unit's electrical requirements are 208/240V 40 AMPS. If your unit was installed properly and you're still having these issues, we would recommend a service call. Be sure to take a look at the details of your warranty as they're stated on page 34 of your Owner's Manual. We hope that this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael
