QuestionWhat kind of dish soap to used with cafe double drawer And does it take jet dry?

- Answer yes to jet dry soap weird, If you use pods you have to place it in the flatware basket I sometimes use gel and have not had an issue but they said liquid . The dispenser is very awkwardly placed. I thought this was a cool appliance but I have had it 4 months and totally regret it. The racks are hard to use the bottom drawer can't handle oversized plates , bowls fall over and glasses are an ongoing puzzle. Think long and hard before purchasing. I miss my wonderful Maytag.

QuestionSince each drawer is smaller than the ypical dishwasher can you use the premeasure dishwashing tabs or should you use measurable detergent?

- Answer Hi there, thanks for reaching out to ask. Per page 11 of the Use and Care manual, do not use liquid detergent in this dishwasher. Also, do not place tablets or put liquid detergent in the detergent dispenser. If using a tablet or gel pouch, place it in the cutlery basket or at the edge of the base rack. You can read more about the detergent dispenser on pages 11 and 12 of the Use and Care manual. If you need to take a look at that, you can view it on our website. Hope this helps! Questionhow to i UNLOCK the door?

- Answer Hi, and thank you for reaching out to us. When the cycle is running, the drawer is locked closed. To open the drawer mid cycle, you must pause the cycle. Since there are no controls on the outside of the dishwasher, you must knock on the right side of the drawer front, 2 knocks, wait for 3 seconds and then open the drawer. We hope this helps. QuestionOn the two drawer black model is the tub stainless steel or plastic? Which FisherPaykel model has a stainless steel tub? Our current FisherPaykel is stainless steel and has quit after 17 years. We wish to replace the old one with a similar model.

QuestionIf this model is not wifi ready how does one know if it is on or off? Everything online talks about being notified in the app with the wifi.

- Answer Don’t buy it. You get notified on your phone when it starts running and when it completes but no one else in the house does so if your not in the kitchen to announce the cycle is complete the family puts dirty dishes in. Epic fail not including a light or alert on the dishwasher confirming progress of the cycle. Dishes don’t come clean anyway so stay clear of this one!

- Answer When the dishwasher is in the pause mode it will beep intermittently. If this happens again press the pause button on the control panel than close the drawer to resume the cycle. If this doesn't help, we recommend that you reset the electronics by flipping the breaker off for at least 2 minutes. Then restore power. If this continues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to Bodewell at 1-833-426-3393.

- Answer Check with GE to see if there is a kit available - the cafe handles are key to the operation of the drawers and they would have to be removed and retrofitted to the cabinetry to work properly. We actually removed the previous panel from our old dishwasher to reveal the sleek beauty of the dark gray steel .

- Answer You don’t really need them. If you take out the bottom drawer you will find built in fins that you can screw to the side cabinets. They are in the front and back they have cutouts in the insulation.

QuestionI was considering this dishwasher, but see in the specs that the tub is Plastic? For this price, why would we get a plastic tub? Is there an option to purchase it stainless steel? Plastic is not durable & may have negative LT health effects. disappointing

- Answer Over the years, we have with great success used both plastic and stainless in the design of the tub and door liners in our dishwashers. The decision as to which to use on a specific model is determined by our engineering and design teams for several reasons. We have in the past developed and utilized some of the most durable plastic materials available and have no reservations using plastic in our beautiful Café dishwashers. Our drawer model dishwashers are not available with a stainless interior.

- Answer Yes, but the rack is tightly compacted and some dishes do not sit well in the washer I have also noticed that the bottom draw seems to never completely drain after a cycle I see a layer of water sitting at the bottom of the draw. The top draw occasionally does the same
