Q: QuestionIf using the charcoal filter, does the chimney need to go all the way to the ceiling or can you just use the lower part of the chimney as shown in the product image?

If the unit is not going to be vented externally, you do not need to run the duct covers to the ceiling as you won't have duct work to cover. It can be installed as shown in the product image.
