    • Answer Not sure if this an answer but mine did the same, was installed in early September 2023 and it's now mid October 2023 and both lights blew out seems like such a short time.

  • QuestionIf using the charcoal filter, does the chimney need to go all the way to the ceiling or can you just use the lower part of the chimney as shown in the product image?

    • Answer Hi - Thank you for your interest in our beautiful matte white Café vent hood. If the unit is not going to be vented externally, you do not need to run the duct covers to the ceiling as you won't have duct work to cover. It can be installed as shown in the product image.   • QuestionIs is hardwired or plug? do i need a separate recirculation kit?

    • Answer Hi! Thanks for asking. This model needs to be hardwired. More details can be found on page 9 of the installation instructions. Also, a recirculation duct is included but a charcoal filter is not. The part number for the charcoal filter is: WB02X24841. Hope this is helpful! While this hood is designed to be vented vertically through the ceiling using a 6" round duct, the venting is convertible! You have the choice to recirculate the exhausting operation to circulate the air through a charcoal filter to remove odors and then discharge the filtered air back into the room. The hood will include the recirculation components needed for this installation except for the accessory JXCF71 Charcoal Filter which will be necessary.
