- Answer After 6 months we have zero scratch or swirl marks. About a third of the time we use cast iron pans & the rest of the time it's really good stainless steel pots & pansl. Once we had to use Cerama Bryte & a sponge to get some gunk off of the cook top, but only once.

- Answer There are 4 types of heating available when cooking: Radiation (like your Microwave), Conduction ("direct" heat, like a traditional stovetop), Induction (a charged body within the stove is used to induce a charge and heat within a magnetic body, like this stove), and Convection (the movement of heat caused by circulation or fluid movement of a liquid or gas). Air Frying is not actually a thing, Air Fryers are convection ovens, with no defined temperature levels or air circulation rates associated with them. As such, all convection ovens (including this one) are "air fryers" of variable quality. The fact that it is not an advertised mode means basically nothing other than it likely doesn't have a very powerful fan. Still, that should not stop you from getting a pan with a raised, grated surface (so the air can circulate under the food, they're common and inexpensive), turning on the fan on your convection oven, and "air frying" with confidence.

QuestionTwo reviews have mentioned that: "The stove has two real ovens, and both are convection". The specifications say that only the bottom oven is convection. So are the customers wrong (what a surprise they're in for!) or are the specs wrong?

QuestionI’m seeing mixed messages on air frying capabilities. Under the description of this oven it says “No-Preheat Air Fry” but in parentheses “WiFi Enabled.” What does that mean? And why did someone from Cafe answer a previous question saying it doesn’t??

We can confirm that during 2021 our No-Preheat Air Fry cooking mode became available, including for this model. The Air Fry mode can be added to your cooking options once you connect to your WiFi and our SmartHQ™ app and receive the free Air Fry upgrade.
