  • QuestionCan the burners be lit manually if the power goes out?

    Asked by Franny.

    • Answer Hi Franny- Yes, you can light the surface burners on the rangetop with a match. Hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the LOW position. Use extreme caution. • QuestionIs it possible to get a downdraft for this model? I cannot accommodate a range hood. Thank you.

    Asked by WeeHa.

    • Answer HI WeeHa- We are excited to hear of your interest in our Café Series! We do not offer a compatible downdraft system for this cooktop. It is recommended that these rangetops be installed in conjunction with a suitable overhead vent hood. Install a hood with at least 600 CFM above a 36” rangetop. Due to the high heat capacity of this unit, particular attention should be paid to the hood and ductwork installation to assure it meets local building codes.
