The middle section is about 19 inches wide. The shelf is both adjustable and removable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The center shelf is 19". It's adjustable for height - there are pegs that hold it in place and can be moved higher/lower or remove it. Optional shelves inside the doors also with pegs to adjust to your preferred height. It was simple to put together. I did need some help putting the doors in. I chose not to use the back panel and it still looks nice against the wall.
