What are the heat sinks for? Thanks null

All my reading about the Pi 4 indicates it runs hotter than the Pi 3, and heat sinks or a fan was recommended for best chip performance.

The processor, graphics chip and USB controller can get hot, especially if you've got the Pi in a case. The heat sinks and/or fan will help prevent overheating which can lead to component failure.
