• It is dependent on WiFi. It doesn't have its own internet connection built in, otherwise that would probably be more expensive to have to pay for that connection. The WiFi connection on this with my router has been very stable and reached pretty far.

• It isn't its own hotspot. Right now, you have to have wifi and internet access available to use it. They're saying that later they will have a mount that will have Verizon LTE access, but I don't know how that will work.

• It has to be within range of your router. It uses wifi from your existing router to transmit the video feed.
