“Will this cartridge fit into my pixma printer, MG6800 series? The black cartridge I am trying to replace came with a setup package and is marked 270 PGBK, but does not have the "XL" notation on it. The XL I bought won't fit.”

XL JUST MEANS MORE INK IN CARTRIDGE. MORE INK MORE MONEY

Yes. The XL just means it yields more than a standard cartridge without the XL Mark.
