This does a great job at scanning old pictures. I have scanned hundreds with mine. They look just like the original. Just make sure there is no dust particles on the pictures because it even picks them up. You can even scan multiple at a time and it separates them out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my opinion this scanner does a great job with old photos. If you scan at the highest resolution it will pick up a piece of dust on the photo that you don't even notice. Great scanner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the scanner to copy negatives and slides that we're forgotten in a basement for 20 years. The scanner did a great job with both. I researched the scanner and was prepared for the time it takes to scan negatives. I scanned more than 2,000 slides and negatives. A place near me wanted a minimum of $.45 for a positive. Seeing the old memories more than compensated for the time. I experimented a bit with corrections of faded and off color items - this could be time consuming if you have no idea what you are doing. The software could be more convenient - buttons to brighten fade, enhance colors, etc. Would be more convenient. I did not see an option in the software that allowed for correcting already scanned pictures. The items scanned display beautifully on my big screen TV. The scanner worked flawlessly and was well worth the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All it does is scan them onto your computer, but my husband scanned some 40+ year old pics and slides, and on the screen they looked much better than the originals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What are you asking? It will scan prints, negatives, and positives (slides) and save them as jpegs, which you can edit (photoshop or whatever) and print. I don't know what you mean by "converting" other than that.
