Comes with a large suit case to store the lens and keep safe. Lens came with strap to hold lens and attached is the Lbracket. A soft lens cover came with it and the hood. There is a clear lens filter in the lens but you would have to buy different drop filters if you wanted other ones.

The EF500 lens with a hood, hood front cover, a sturdy hard case like a carry-on, a strap that can be attached to the lens, and maybe a couple other small items. I heard the hood costs >$500 to replace, which appears to be just a large tube.
