• Great for video. The image stabilization is pretty good for hand held at 200mm. While it is pretty silent, I would recommend getting an external microphone anyway.

• I use this lens almost exclusively for video. I have never noticed any noise when focusing. The low light is very good at f/2.8. I highly recommend this lens.
