Depends on what you're using them for. 70-200mm is relatively long on a crop sensor. So if you're needing to "reach out" and photograph subjects that are a pretty far distance from you then they will work well. For example, shooting sports (will still be kind of short for this), school plays, birds (still a little short), people from a distance (as in standing in a crowd and shooting someone standing at a podium, etc.,. If you need something to use in more close quarters then the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS is a fine lens for a crop sensor. It's often mentioned as being "L" quality in an EF-S lens. Optionally, the Canon EF 24-70 f/4 IS is a lens to look at, though it will be "longer" than the 17-55mm. Food for thought.
