The lens does well in low light if you use a flash. But if you don’t, you’ll have two options: use a low ISO and deal with slightly out of focus images, or jack up the ISO and deal with graininess. Using a tripod is a good option but that means slower shutter speeds which may not be good if you have a lot of moving people or objects (Unless you’re going for that ).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If people are moving I'd make other adjustments over using a tripod, unless you are doing video with a video head tripod that allows for smoother pans. It works well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Haven’t shot many moving areas in low lit times/areas, however the aperture helps a lot. Haven’t had the need for a tripod yet, but depends on your iso settings etc. just picked up a tripod for long exposures and some other shots
