Will this lens work with the EOS REBEL T7i? null

yes it will. since the T7i is an aps-c crop sensor you will get the equivalent of 115-420mm or so which is even better for wildlife and birds. I shoot with nikon tooand theres a dx or crop version of the 70-300 which is smaller and lighter for my nikon crop sensor d500. you may want to look at the canon choices *BUT* i do have this very same lens adapted on my sony A7iii and it is crazy sharp and has very fast silent focusing. you will be very happy with the quality and use of this lens and can use it on a full frame if you get one. happy shooting!
