• The lens will work on a Canon EOS camera. However, whether it will stop motion blur is more your camera as well as the lens, you need to set the shutter speed to a fast enough speed to stop action, and then the limitation would be if you can open the lens enough. Higher ISO settings may help. I shot a few soccer tournament games at dusk, after I boosted the ISO some images were pretty good, others not.
