I have the EOS 70D using this lens at NFL night, NHL games and Monster Truck shows and got great pictures. You just need to increase ISO to 3-4K. Also NOTE that Best Buy has the WRONG filter size, it’s 58 mm for all three 70-300 Lenses. ONLY the 70-300 L lens is 67mm.
